‘An Opportunity to Be Inspired’ – Serena Williams Vows to Create More Wonders With Her Newly Launched Nike Building

No question, Serena Williams is one of the greatest female athletes of all time. But people often argue that she is, in fact, the greatest of all time. Over 20 years, she showed her dominance on the tennis court, winning 23 Grand Slam titles along the way. Meanwhile, Nike has been a big part of her journey and she always wanted to be a “Nike Athlete”. In a recent social media post, Serena explained her dream of getting her own building at the Nike campus.

Finally, her dreams came true, as she got her own building at the Nike campus in Oregon. Later, Serena responded with gratitude after exploring the entire building.Earlier, the 23-time Grand Slam champion already posted on her Instagram thanking Nike for the amazing gesture. She also posted the video of her entire 1 million square foot building. Incidentally, this is the biggest building for an athlete at the Oregon campus. After unveiling her building, Serena said, “The whole building takes your breath away. Every element, everywhere you go, is an opportunity to be inspired. I hope this building encourages people to bring out the best of themselves and to dream bigger than they thought possible.”

Notably, Serena first signed with Nike in 2003, and they have been together ever since. After almost 18-years, Nike paid tribute to the great tennis player with her own building. They designed the whole thing with Serena’s favorite things, like, color, flowers, and more. Moreover, they named a theatre after Serena’s daughter, Olympia. sky bridges, and plenty more. Since winning her 23rd Grand Slam title, Serena has been trying to win her 24th and equal Margaret Court for the most number of Grand Slam titles. Unfortunately, she failed to do so, even though she reached four Grand Slam finals after that; 2 of them came at Wimbledon.
Now, after missing almost an entire year, she is now ready for her return at Wimbledon. Safe to say, she will again look for her record 24th Grand Slam title. Can Serena win her 24th Major title at Wimbledon? Let us know in the comments.
